bars are literally pecan pie baked in a bar form.
The outrageous caramel-nut squares feature a thick
shortbread cookie crust, roasted whole pecans, and
a homemade brown sugar caramel infused with fresh
orange zest and cinnamon. Matt’s friend Linda
proclaimed them her favorite years ago, and dozens
have followed in her path.
